The Thunder Egg Consort is a dynamic early music ensemble known for its inventive programming and vibrant, historically informed performances. The group brings fresh energy to Baroque and early repertoire through a collaborative and exploratory approach.

The ensemble specializes in historically informed performance, drawing on period instruments and performance practices to reimagine music from the Renaissance and Baroque eras. At the same time, the ensemble is recognized for its creative programming, often weaving together traditional works with lesser-known pieces and contemporary perspectives that illuminate the past in new ways. Their performances emphasize storytelling, texture, and emotional immediacy, inviting audiences into an engaging and immersive musical experience. With a flexible roster of musicians and a spirit of experimentation, Thunderegg Consort continues to expand the boundaries of early music while honoring its rich traditions.
